CHOREE is the first record of Renaud De Putter published in 1999 - what we present here is a series of pieces for piano, performed by Stephane Ginsburgh. We are here far away either from the neo-classical tends and from the new post-serial academism - it is really a quite free method of composition - very rhizomatic, and strong in its realization.
5 FILMS FROM 1904 included in this production: a multi-media aspect - 5 films by the Belgian neurolog (and pioneer of the scientific film) ARTHUR VAN GEHUCHTEN. Very early in the century, he decided to film his patients (who had strong neurotic problems) after seeing the first projection of the Lumière brothers in Brussels!
